Wow! Time sure does fly when you're having fun during the summertime in sunny San Diego. Let's backtrack to June 19th when Pilgrimage of the Heart and Pura Vida yoga studios hosted a free yoga event at Balboa Park for International Day of Yoga in San Diego. A wonderfully diverse group of people with inner yogi and yogini hearts joined together to practice a community class taught by Xenia, Alexa Hatt, Courtney Yezzi (pictured below), Jamie Martin (pictured below).
19 specialty sessions took place afterwards and I attended Sydney Cohen's inversion workshop with a fellow Yoga/Barre instructor friend Brittany Harmon (pictured below). With safe and clear instruction Sydney guided students and teachers alike into arm balancing poses and handstands, which always leave me feeling strong, accomplished, and glowing with inner happiness radiating out.
Below are a few photos highlighting the collective energy from these amazing yogi and yoginis of all ages. More photos to come. If you'd like to stay updated on this photo collection, comment on the post below or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you missed this year's celebration, there is always space for you to enjoy your practice with other like-minded individuals and explore your choice and type of yoga.
